CFWG Community Impact Grant

The CFWG Community Impact Grant supports charitable organizations in Carroll, Haralson, and Heard counties through an annual competitive grant process. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations that have operated for at least two years and provide services in specified areas. Grants are awarded for projects in arts, education, environment, and social services, with a focus on addressing significant community needs and demonstrating resource mobilization capabilities.

Making an Impact!
A significant way the Community Foundation is making a difference in Carroll, Haralson, and Heard counties is through the Community Impact Fund’s annual competitive grant process. Organization in the three counties can apply for grants in four areas:

• Arts & Culture
• Education
• Environment
• Social Services

Eligibility

The Community Foundation of West Georgia considers grant applications from organizations that:Are determined as charitable under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, public entities or other charitable, educational or cultural organizations.Must provide programs and services to the West Georgia area, including one or more of the following three counties: Carroll, Haralson and Heard counties.The Foundation will only accept applications from previously funded organizations if a final report has been submitted, unless the request is for a new program/project.Have been in operation for a minimum of two years.The Foundation will not consider funding of start-up programs of new organizations
