The Alice Huffard Richards (AHR) Fund opened in 2004 to further the philanthropic efforts of Ms. Alice Huffard Richards. Art Enrichment Grant The Art Enrichment Grant's mission is to provide funds for public school music, art, and drama programs located in Carroll, Haralson, and Heard counties.

Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. State certified music and art teachers in a public school located in Carroll, Haralson, or Heard counties for grades Pre-K through 12. Funds may be used to purchase supplies, supplemental teaching material, or secure the services of an outside artist. Projects can be funded up to a maximum of $1,000 or partially funded.Grant funds are awarded to the school and do not follow the teacher, (example, if you get transferred to another school, even in the same district, the funds remain with the school of the original application). Funds are awarded per program, so if a school has a band program and an art program, both teachers are eligible to apply.Teachers employed at more than one school may apply for a grant for each school. (Not limited to one grant per teacher.)

Ineligibility

Funds may NOT be used to purchase band uniforms.This grant may not be used for clubs or afterschool programs.
