Center for School Actions and Technical Assistance The Center for School Actions and Technical Assistance is intended to support the agency in accomplishing the following: Technical Assistance: providing strategic technical assistance to school systems or campuses planning and implementing school actions;Center for School Actions: building capacity, through resources and trainings, for taking school actions across the state; and School Action Technical Assistance Providers: supporting the identification, evaluation, and selection of a robust set of school action technical assistance providers. TEA’s Division of System Support offers competitive grants and technical assistance to support school systems interested in planning and implementing bold school actions – creating new schools, redesigning schools, restarting struggling schools, and reassigning students to higher performing campuses. The Center for School Actions and Technical Assistance grant is intended to support the agency to accomplish the following: Cultivate demand for School Actions: Increase demand for replicating successful school actions through school systems engagement, support with data analysis and planning, creation and revision of tools and resources, and evaluation of school model options based on school system, campus, and community needs.Identify and support potential high impact models: Using qualitative and quantitative data, identify successful school models and support scale implementation.Codify successful school models: Once a model has been identified for codification, the Center for School Actions will codify the model using a standard process and template.Provide Technical Assistance: Provide strategic technical assistance to technical assistance providers supporting school systems or campuses planning and implementing school actions, and school systems or campuses planning and implementing school actions.Eligibility
