CCFF: Giving Circle Grants

The Centre Foundation's Giving Circle Grants offer vital funding ranging from $2,500 to over $10,000 to support nonprofit organizations in Centre County, PA. This initiative encourages community involvement by allowing members to vote on grant recipients at an annual reception. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits serving residents of Centre County and comply with the Foundation's Nondiscrimination Policy. These grants aim to foster impactful programs that drive positive change in the community.

Centre Foundation is committed to grantmaking and non-monetary support that sparks positive change throughout Centre County and beyond.
Each year, Centre Foundation distributes over $250,000 through competitive grant cycles to benefit nonprofit organizations throughout our community. Our grants support a wide array of causes and interest areas, including arts and culture, health and human services, education, animal welfare, and specific geographic regions.
The Giving Circle is Centre Foundation’s membership-based group of community-minded individuals who pool their resources to support dynamic programs and projects in Centre County. The group gathers and votes at an annual reception to determine which of three finalist organizations will receive a $10,000+ grant. Grants typically range from $2,500 – $15,000.

Eligibility

This grant is open to qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that serve Centre County, PA residents.Funding must be used to support programs/projects in Centre County that comply with Centre Foundation's Nondiscrimination Policy.New or ongoing programs and projects that positively impact Centre County are eligible. Organizations can receive a Giving Circle grant once every three years. (Giving Circle finalists must skip two years before re-applying.)

IRS 501(c)(3) public charities registered with the PA Bureau of Charitable Organizations, for programs benefiting Centre County; must comply with the Foundation's Nondiscrimination Policy. Grants once every three years; past finalists must skip two years before reapplying.
