CCAC Scholarship Program

CCAC's scholarship program was designed to give everyone the opportunity to take classes at CCAC. Scholarships are offered each session, with funding based on availability and student need.

Geographic Scope: Clifton Cultural Arts Center, Cincinnati, Ohio

Focus Areas: Arts classes offered by CCAC including Culture, Dance, Music, Theater, Visual Arts, Wellness, and Writing

Eligibility:

• Students of all ages (preschool through adult)
• Priority consideration for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch programs
• Students receiving food assistance (SNAP, WIC, etc.)
• Students demonstrating financial need
• CCAC typically only provides funding for one class per student per session

Award Details:

• Scholarships up to $100 are available
• If class tuition exceeds the scholarship amount, the applicant or parent/guardian must pay the remaining balance
• CCAC is typically only able to provide funding for one class per student per session

Attendance Requirements:

• Scholarship recipients are expected to attend a minimum of 60% of class sessions in the quarter for which the scholarship was awarded
• Students who do not attend 60% of classes may not be eligible for future CCAC scholarships

Application Process

Required Information:

Class Information:

Financial Need Questions:

1. Does the applicant qualify for the free/reduced lunch program? (Yes/No)
2. Does the applicant qualify for food assistance programs (SNAP, WIC, etc.)? (Yes/No)
3. If "No" to food assistance, briefly describe the need for financial assistance

Agreement:

• Applicant must agree to attendance requirement: minimum 60% attendance of class sessions in the quarter for which scholarship is awarded
• Acknowledgment that non-attendance may result in ineligibility for future CCAC scholarships
