Summary

The PCHF Capacity Building Mini-Grant Program is designed to support nonprofit organizations in the greater Phoenixville region. This program offers grants of up to $2,500 per year for training and educational initiatives that enhance governance, accountability, and sustainability. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits that operate within specific geographical boundaries and meet certain requirements, including a budget of less than $3 million and current or recent grant activity.

Overview

NOTE: Mini grants can only be accessed through a code given by PCHF staff. All organizations must contact the foundation to talk about your mini-grant idea before receiving the code Capacity Building Mini-Grant Program Intended to assist nonprofit organizations with training and educational programs that strengthen the governance structure, program accountability, and program sustainability. Programs that may qualify for this funding are: board of director training, staff development/leadership, DEI training, strategic planning, outcome-based training/resources, marketing/branding (new brochures, new websites, video promotion, social media campaigns, etc.) and strategic planning. These grants are meant to address an organizational problem, add to existing capacity, or test a solution. The maximum grant award is $5,000 per year

Organizations must have the following:Current 501(c)3 status (or fiscal sponsorship)​Services provided to PCHF’s geographic area of interest​Directors and Officers insurance​Operating budget of less than $3 million​Must be a current annual grantee OR have received an annual grant within the last 2 years.

Ineligibility

We do not reimburse for projects/programs that have already been funded by the applying organizations.Existing and/or recurring costs are not eligible.
