Canton Community Fund Grants The Canton Community Fund is a community-based organization that financially supports projects aiming to sustain and improve life in the Village and Town of Canton. The Canton Community Fund invites applications for grants to support projects that aim to sustain and improve the life of the community. The Fund has provided assistance in a wide variety of areas, including historic preservation and awareness, community beautification, the arts, education, recreation, human services, and programs for youth and senior citizens.

Eligibility

Not-for-profit organizations that are located in and serve the residents of the Village or Town of Canton are eligible for grants from the Fund.​Organizations must be a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) organization OR have a registered non-profit organization or municipality that can receive funds on the applicant's behalf. Schools, churches, and municipalities are exempt from this requirement.Grant monies may be used to support the purposes outlined above through special projects, program start-ups, or capital items that are not part of normal maintenance. Organizations that have received support in the past may apply again, and the Fund welcomes applications on a rolling basis.
