Caleres Cares Charitable Trust Grants In 1921, our founder, George Warren Brown, established a trust to award funds to charitable organizations. A century later, our Caleres Cares Charitable Trust continues to support worthy organizations that help people live better. Through the Trust, we support charitable organizations that strategically align with our mission, vision, and values, with priority grant funding for initiatives that: Care for and develop stronger families Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion Share our dedication to a journey toward sustainability Benefit the St. Louis community in maintaining and attracting businesses and residents by ensuring a rich arts and cultural environment Support our leadership position in the footwear industry

Caleres Cares does not support any organization that has a written policy of discrimination on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.The Trust generally does not support galas, walks, golf outings, trivia nights, etc. Grants are not made to individuals.
