Bob and Darlene (Phelps) Stutte Family Scholarship Fund The Bob and Darlene (Phelps) Stutte Family Scholarship Fund was established by Bob Stutte at the Juneau Community Foundation. Two awards in the amount of $2,500 will be given out. The scholarship may be used for tuition or to enable the student to purchase necessary books, academic supplies, tools, equipment, or uniforms. The scholarship will be sent to the institution the awardee will be attending.

The Stutte Family Scholarship is to support two high school seniors, or graduate from 2022 or 2023, from Yaakoosge Daakahidi Alternative High School or the CHOICE Program at Juneau Douglas High School, to pursue a higher education at a University, College, Vocational school, or other post-secondary training.Seniors from Yaakoosge Daakahidi Alternative High School or the CHOICE Program at Juneau Douglas High School, and graduates from the class of 2022 and 2023, with a GPA of 3.5 or lower are welcome to apply, selection will be based off your application, personal essay, financial need, and two letters of recommendation.Graduates from the class of 2022 and 2023 can apply only if they are not currently enrolled in University, College, or Vocational school. For young adults who graduated up to two years previously, this is intended to provide an opportunity for those students who take additional years after high school graduation before deciding to go back to school or getting additional training.
