Program Purpose: Provides funding for sewer and water utility waivers for local health and social service 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies that provide transitional overnight accommodations.

Eligibility Requirements

• 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
• Must provide transitional overnight accommodations
• Must demonstrate services have been provided for at least one year

What They Don't Fund

• Capital projects

Award Timeline

• Awards determined by end of April each year
• Funding not available until after July 15
• Awards must be expended by June 30 of the following year

General Information

• There is no set minimum or maximum grant funding level
• Grant funds can be expended until June 30 of the following year
