Geographic Scope: Stillwater Area Public Schools (ISD 834), Stillwater, MN

Eligibility:

  • Staff, teachers, or district leaders with a vision for enhancing education on a broader scale

    • Current Funded Initiatives:

  • 5th Grade Theatre Residency: One-week theater residency for every 5th grader in the district (since 2022/23)

  • 4th Grade Orchestra Hall Field Trip: All 4th graders visit Orchestra Hall for youth concert

  • Pathways Program at SAHS: Ongoing annual support (since 2019)

  • K-2 Literacy Initiative: Foundational Literacy Letter Tile Boards for all K-2 classrooms

  • Math Corps: Funds 2 trained tutors at SMS for targeted math support

  • Vocal Pedagogy at SAHS: Funding for outside instructor for intensive choral lesson annually

  • Design and Make Programs: Technology and supplies for Oak-Land Middle School and Stillwater Middle School

  • Media Center Upgrades: 3-year project, $50,000 per year to upgrade library collections at secondary schools (OMS, SMS, SAHS)

  • Educator Restorative Circles: Training for new teachers in restorative practices with expert Becky McCammon

  • Mental Health Initiative: Thousands of dollars annually to support mental health across schools
