Siouxland Community Foundation Our Mission The Siouxland Community Foundation strives to enhance the quality of life in the greater Siouxland tri-state area by seeking charitable gifts to build permanent endowments as charitable capital for the community, providing a flexible vehicle to receive and distribute gifts of any size, making grants in response to community needs, and providing services that will help shape the well-being of Siouxland. Ben Uhl & Sarah Murray Family Scholarship Ben Uhl and Sarah Murray established their family scholarship in 2020 because they were compelled to begin a legacy that would further personal advancement and education for their employees and their families, customers and the community members from areas in which their businesses are located. Purpose: The purpose of the scholarship program is to assist graduating high school seniors in their pursuit of a post-secondary education at an accredited college/university to obtain a 4-year academic degree.

Eligibility

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors from a high school located in the following counties: Woodbury, Cherokee and Plymouth Counties in Iowa or Wayne County in Nebraska. Applicants must be pursuing a degree at a 2 or 4 year college or university. Applicant must have a 2.5 GPA.
