NOTE: Sponsorship applications will be available throughout the year. Organizations can submit an application at any time, but they will not be considered outside of review dates listed below. Please consider the timing of your event against the evaluation dates when submitting a request. Mission The mission of the Branford Community Foundation (BCF) is to connect people who care with causes that matter for the purpose of preserving and promoting the quality of life in Branford, Connecticut, now and for generations to come. We fulfill our mission by building and maintaining a charitable endowment and making prudent grants that serve to address the ever-changing needs of the Branford community. Through the gracious giving of donors who are committed to our mission, we fund worthy programs that promote the quality of life in Branford. Sponsorships BCF is proud to partner with GSB to support organizations serving the Branford community through sponsorship of qualifying events.

Eligibility

Sponsorships will be awarded for either: A single event (i.e gala, road race, etc): orA series of individual events held by an organization over a given time period (for organizations that offer annual sponsorship opportunities).The Committee looks for opportunities that provide one or more of the following: An opportunity to reach a targeted audience and build relationships. Considerations include audience size, community impact and sponsor package details.A positive exposure that is consistent with BCF’s image and values.Meaningful impact on the Branford community.Organizations may submit a sponsorship request and a competitive grant application, but not for the same program/event.

Ineligibility

Not considered for sponsorship:On-going programming, support services or activities (consider applying for a grant and not a sponsorship).School club, religious, and political events.
