    • Program Overview:
    A partnership designed to encourage homeownership near place of employment. This program provides grant assistance to help employees purchase homes in Baltimore City close to where they work.

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Employees of participating companies (companies must be enrolled in program)

  • First-time homebuyers in Baltimore City

  • No annual income limits

  • Participating employers may develop additional eligibility requirements for their employees

    • Use of Funds:
    Down payment and closing assistance

    Loan Terms:

  • Forgivable loan (20% per year over 5 years)

  • Buyer must contribute at least $1,000 towards purchase

  • Property must be used as principal residence

  • Participating employers may establish additional restrictions including eligible neighborhoods
