Overview

AVID Scholarship Programs Orange County Community Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist high school seniors that are currently enrolled in the AVID elective class and who plan to continue their education in a four-year college or university. The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Scholarship Funds Applicants will complete one application for consideration for all the scholarship funds under the AVID Scholarship Programs. Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria and the criteria of one or more of the scholarships listed:Be a student from Orange County, CA, who has participated in the AVID program for at least 3 years (from grades 6-12)Be a current high school senior, and currently enrolled in the AVID elective classPlan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic yearHave a minimum weighted grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scaleMust demonstrate financial needBe pursuing a degree in Art (including- Dance, Voice, Opera, Theatre Arts, Musical, Visual Arts or Music)
