Scholarship America Inc
Scholarship America aims to eliminate financial barriers to students’ dreams. For more than 60 years, we’ve worked with sponsors of all sizes to craft flexible custom scholarship programs that connect organizations’ missions with best-in-class solutions.
In 1958, optometrist Dr. Irving Fradkin had a simple but profound idea: if everyone in his community gave a dollar to a scholarship fund, it would be enough to help every local student attend college.
Our expert approach and focus on students facing financial challenges help break down barriers and open doors to education. That’s how, in our over 60 years of history, we have managed to administer and award $5.7 billion in scholarships to more than 3.2 million deserving students on the pathway to education.
Mission: At Scholarship America, our mission is to eliminate financial barriers to educational success so that any student can pursue their dream.
DLA Piper Scholarship Programs - LEAP (Legal Elite Athlete Program)
DLA Piper is currently accepting applications to two scholarship programs to support student athletes and veterans interested in pursuing a legal career: LEAP (Legal Elite Athlete Pipeline) and BRAVO (Building Relationships to Advance Veterans’ Opportunities). The goal is to promote the next generation of lawyers by providing opportunities to students and veterans who might not have considered law as a career but have what it takes to succeed – discipline, focus, resilience, and leadership.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
