Overview:
Each year, the ASES Foundation issues a call for proposals encouraging new investigators to apply for seed and start-up funding for promising shoulder and elbow research projects.

Funding Details:

• Award Amount: Up to $20,000
• Project Duration: 12-24 months of work
• Grant Period: July 1 - June 30 (12 months)
• Recurrence: Annual

• Shoulder and elbow research
• Seed and start-up funding for promising projects

Eligibility:

• Principal Investigators: Only orthopaedic surgeons acting as principal investigators are eligible to apply
• New investigators encouraged

Review Process:

• All applications reviewed and graded by the ASES Research Committee
• Applicants notified by Mid-May of award year
