ARIN Community Grant Program Application

Application Platform: SurveyMonkey Apply

Setup Requirements:
1. Create SurveyMonkey Apply account
2. Verify email address before beginning application

Application Process:
1. Submit through designated online form by announced deadline (16 April - 14 June 2026)
2. Complete all required sections below
3. May upload supporting documentation
4. By submitting, indicate willingness to sign Grant Recipient Agreement if selected
5. Successful applicants must log in to SurveyMonkey Apply to accept or decline grant
6. Upon acceptance, must submit signed Grant Recipient Agreement and fund issuance information

Required Application Sections:

Applicant Details

• Main Contact: Full Name, Email, Phone Number, Title, Organization, Additional Information
• Application Organization: Name, Address, URL, Type, Nonprofit status (yes/no), Region, D&B D-U-N-S Number, About the Organization
• Application History: Prior ARIN Community Grant applications and results; how did you hear about program?

Project Overview

• Project Title
• Project URL (if applicable)
• Organization Logo (optional)
• Project Summary: Concise description (200 words or less; will be shared publicly if selected)
• Project Objectives: Specific 1-3 objective(s) the project aims to achieve

Project Details

• Project Description: Detailed description including:
- How objectives will be achieved - Problem being addressed - Direct and indirect beneficiary groups - Alignment with ARIN mission - How project will benefit ARIN region - If applicable: software requirement document/mockup - If applicable: data management plan and code/data generation strategy - If applicable: ARIN staff resource commitment

Project Budget

• Clearly stated and carefully considered funding requirements
• Detailed breakdown of all costs
• If applicable: contributions from other sources and/or applicant organization with breakdown
• Allocation explanation of how ARIN grant money will be used
• Ensure no more than 5% budget allocated to promotional purposes, administrative overhead, travel, or equipment
• Budget must appear reasonable and customary
• Funding request must not be commercial in nature or for excluded purposes

Outcomes, Impact, and Sustainability

• Project Impact: How project results can be scaled, replicated, or applied
• Long-term value: How outcomes can be sustained beyond funding year
• Community involvement: Diversity of actors in implementation (community members, volunteers, partner organizations)
• Measurability: Specific, quantifiable and qualitative outcomes

Project Compliance and Disclosure

• Confirm noncommercial nature of project
• Confirm project aligns with ARIN mission
• Confirm project broadly benefits ARIN region
• Privacy acknowledgment: data collection and processing per ARIN Privacy Statement

Supporting Documentation: May be uploaded to application form (optional)

Data Privacy: All data including personal data collected in accordance with ARIN Privacy Statement
