AMEN Conference Student Subsidy

Purpose: Financial assistance to help medical and dental students attend the annual AMEN conference.

Geographic Scope: Open to students worldwide; organization based in Ooltewah, TN.

Eligibility:

• Current medical students
• Current dental students
• Must be AMEN member (can join/renew before applying)

What They Fund:

• Partial or full conference registration costs
• Hotel accommodation
• Meals during conference

What They Don't Fund:

• Travel/airfare to conference location

Key Information:

• $100 deposit required (refunded if applicant attends conference)
• Deposit can be paid by check or credit card
• Conference typically includes accommodation options and meal plans
• Students can select arrival and departure dates
• Roommate matching available (individual, spouse, or preferred roommate assignment)

Application Process

1. Membership Requirement:
   • Must be AMEN member before applying (join or renew membership first)
2. Complete online application form with:
   • Full name (first, middle, last)
   • Email address
   • Phone number
   • Home address (street, city, state, zip, country)
   • Area of study (Medical Student or Dental Student)
   • Graduation year
   • Name of school/institution
3. Conference Details:
   • Select arrival date (Thursday through Sunday options)
   • Select departure date (Sabbath or Sunday)
   • Specify roommate type preference (individual, spouse, or preferred roommate)
   • If married, confirm spouse status and provide spouse name and gender
4. Deposit:
   • Select deposit payment method:
   • Mail $100 check to: AMEN, PO Box 398, Weed, CA 96094-0398
   • Credit card payment (online)
   • Deposit refunded upon conference attendance
5. Submission:
