AMEN Conference Missionary Subsidy

Purpose: Financial assistance to help missionaries and medical professionals attend the annual AMEN conference.

Geographic Scope: Open to applicants from any location; organization based in Ooltewah, TN.

Eligibility:

• Medical/dental professionals interested in missionary work
• Must be able to provide letter of good standing from church pastor on church letterhead

What They Fund:

• Partial conference registration costs
• Does NOT cover airfare

What They Don't Fund:

• Airfare to the conference
• Full conference costs (subsidy may only cover portion of total cost)

Key Information:

• Subsidy amount varies; full conference cost is not guaranteed to be covered
• Requires pastor's letter of recommendation
• Application must include: reasons for needing subsidy, professional background, plans for furthering AMEN's mission

Application Process

2. Required Materials:
   • Letter of good standing from church pastor (must be on church letterhead)
3. Essay/Narrative Question:
   • Statement of reasons for needing subsidy to attend AMEN conference
   • Include: reasons for wanting to attend, professional background, plans for furthering the mission of AMEN
4. Acknowledgment:
   • Confirm understanding that:
   • AMEN does not pay for airfare
   • Subsidy granted may only be for a portion of total conference cost, not the full amount
