AF: Grant $5,000 or Less

The Ashtabula Foundation offers grants of $5,000 or less to support non-profit organizations serving Ashtabula County. With a focus on Human Services, the foundation also considers requests from categories such as Arts, Education, and Community Development. Eligible organizations must have a 501(C)(3) status and utilize funds for the benefit of local citizens. Applications are limited to one per year, ensuring careful consideration for impactful projects.

Ashtabula Foundation
The Ashtabula Foundation is a private foundation that grants funds to non-profit, charitable organizations within Ashtabula County.
In keeping with its mission to serve people in need, the Board will focus its grantmaking in the Human Services category. The remaining category requests will be considered based on the amount of funds available, the criteria for the category, and the impact the grant may have on its recipients and the greater community.
Grants - $5,000 and Below
The Foundation accepts requests for grants in all categories listed below in the amount of $5,000 or less. The requests are reviewed by a committee, and a decision is rendered in a timely manner.

Eligibility

To qualify for a grant, an organization must have a 501(C)(3) determination from the Internal Revenue Service and must be located in or serve the citizens of Ashtabula County.All grant funds received from the Ashtabula Foundation must be used for the benefit of Ashtabula County citizens.Applications are limited to one request per organization per year for $5,000 or less or $5,001 and above.

Ineligibility

Multiple projects will not be considered.
