Program Purpose, Goals, and Objectives
The purpose of this grant program is to provide funding to the eligible applicant to expand the All Pro Dad chapter program in school systems across Texas to increase early childhood literacy and fatherhood and parental educational engagement, encourage and teach fathers to read to their children through a multimedia literacy campaign, and increase the number of fathers engaged in the program.
Grant activities will include the:
creation and support of a chapter development team;development and launch of a robust media awareness campaign;creation of fatherhood tools and resources;Chapter Father Time Reading Challenge;Daddy Read to Me Turf Events; andSummer Reading Challenge.
