The 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans Stanley Izumigawa Scholarship Fund The 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans Stanley Izumigawa Scholarship Fund was created in 2014. The purpose of the scholarship fund is to benefit descendants of the members of The 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans of WWII and to perpetuate its legacy of continuing service by rewarding direct descendants of the veterans who demonstrate these values and beliefs.Eligibility

HCF Criteria: Preference for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing. Donor Criteria: Demonstrate academic achievement, minimum GPA of 2.7 Attend an accredited two-or-four year college or university Be an undergraduate or graduate student Be a full-time student (12 credits undergraduate, 6-9 credits graduate) Be a direct descendant of a 100 Infantry Battalion World War II veteran Show potential for promoting the legacy of the 100th Infantry Battalion of World War II (additional essay). Active in extra-curricular activities and community service. Do not need to be a Hawaii resident Do not need to demonstrate financial need.Applicants will identify name of veteran and relationship.
