THE MISSION OF THE VENICE AREA BOARD OF REALTORS, INC. IS TO SERVE ITS MEMBERS IN IDENTIFYING NEEDS;DEVELOPING, PROMOTING AND PROVIDING PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO ENHANCE THE MEMBERS' FREEDOM AND ABILITY TO CONDUCT THEIR INDIVIDUAL BUSINESSES SUCCESSFULLY, WITH INTEGRITY AND COMPETENCY, AND THROUGH COLLECTIVE ACTION; AND TOPROMOTE THE EXTENSION AND PRESERVATION OF THE RIGHTS TO OWN, TRANSFER AND USE REAL PROPERTY. SOME SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES INCLUDE: 1) TO PROVIDE MEMBERS WITH PROGRAMS AND SERVICES WHICH WILL HELP THEIR BUSINESSES PROSPER, 2) TO PROMOTE THE AFFORDABILITY AND AVAILABILITY OF HOUSING, 3) TO IMPROVE THE PUBLIC'S AWARENESS OF AND CONFIDENCE IN THE MEMBERS AND THE BENEFITS PROVIDED BY THEIR SERVICES, AND 4) TO EDUCATE MEMBERS REGARDING RISK MANAGEMENT AND LEGAL LIABILITIES.
