The Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics is a non-profit organization with the following mission: a. To improve the health & welfare of infants, children & adolescents in Georgia; b. To study the scientific, educational; and economic aspects of medicine to secure and maintain the highest standards of pediatric care; c. To unite qualified pediatricians of the state into a representative organization for the advancement of the practice of pediatrics; d. To promote excellence in pediatric care by organizing programs of post-graduate education; and e. To further the policies and objectives of the American academy of pediatrics at the state level.
