Technical and Operations Services: The Technical and Operations Services Department (TOSO) provides technical assistance to members and represents APPA on code and standard-making committees. The department files comments and provides testimony before federal agencies including the EPA, OSHA/DOL, DOE, OMB, FMCSA, EIA, NERC, and DHS/FEMA.
Operational Excellence Programs: Including the Reliable Public Power Provider (RP3) program, the E-Reliability Tracker program, and the Mutual Aid program.
Research and Demonstration: The Demonstration of Energy & Efficiency Developments (DEED) program is APPA's research and demonstration initiative.
