Remembering Litvaks Inc
The Florida Holocaust Museum is one of the largest Holocaust museums in the country, located in St. Petersburg, Florida. Founded as a result of businessman and Holocaust survivor Walter P. Loebenberg's vision, the Museum honors the memory of those who suffered and perished in the Holocaust. The Museum is dedicated to teaching people of all backgrounds to recognize the inherent worth and dignity of human life in order to prevent future genocides. Since opening in 1992 with a single staff member, the Museum has grown to become a major educational institution serving students, educators, and the public through exhibits, programs, and a growing collection of artifacts, research materials, and personal collections including Professor Elie Wiesel's archives.
