Mission: To work together to provide professional services to counties and to promote effective and efficient government for the benefit of counties and the citizens of New Mexico. The Association exists to be a united voice for the Counties of New Mexico and to provide services in the areas of public policy, legislative oversight, education for county elected officials and employees, grants opportunities, and information dissemination.

- Insurance & Risk Management – Multi-line law enforcement and workers' compensation coverage for counties; administration of insurance pools
- Legal Services – The Legal Bureau provides legal and litigation services for New Mexico County Insurance Authority risk pool claims
