COMMUNITY FOUNDATION WHICH IS BUILDING A POOL OF FUNDS TO PROVIDE FOR THE NEEDS OF THE RESIDENTS OF MONROE COUNTY, IOWA. THESE MONIES WILL BE USED FOR EDUCATION PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS; ARTS AND CULTURAL PROGRAMS INCLUDING HISTORIC PRESERVATION; WELLNESS/RECREATION PROGRAMS; HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICE PROGRAMS; PUBLIC AFFAIRS AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS; PUBLIC FACILITY CONSTRUCTION; REHABILITATION AND MAINTENANCE; AND AGRICULTURE, NATURAL RESOURCE AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMS.
