To assist disabled and needy war veterans, to promote the social welfare of the community and to sponsor or participate in activities of patriotic nature. Cash contributions are made to state, county, and local veteran's assistance programs, boy scouts, girl scouts, junior and senior high school scholarships, athletic and scholastic after school programs, food pantries, the chamber of commerce, veteran's monument funds, American legion baseball, the lions club, and memorial and veteran's day services.
