FCCA’s website describes two current grant opportunities. Arts Grants for Queens is supported by the New York State Council on the Arts Statewide Community Regrants Program. The Queens Community Arts Grant offers $1,000–$7,500 for public arts and cultural projects in Queens by eligible Queens-based organizations, groups, and collectives; groups without nonprofit status need a Queens-based nonprofit fiscal sponsor. The Artists in Queens Grant offers $5,000 to individual artists who live in Queens for new work in a community setting. GO Queens, funded by the Howard Gilman Foundation, offers two-year general operating support to Queens-based performing arts organizations with annual operating budgets under $250,000. The website describes 46 awards of $20,000 over two years, paid at $10,000 per year.

For the 2027 cycle, applications are listed as open September 14, 2026, and closing December 1, 2026, at 5 p.m., with award notification in March 2027. First-time applicants must attend an information session or watch a recording before applying; applicants who have applied in the last three years are not required to attend. The Queens Community Arts Grant requires one project request of at least $1,000 and no more than $7,500, except for applicants acting as fiscal sponsors or community partners. Its stated goals are to strengthen community bonds, increase awareness and access to cultural activities in Queens, and advance the applicant’s mission.
