CWI Works addresses critical workforce gaps by recruiting and training older workers to meet employer needs. The organization focuses on connecting low-income and disadvantaged adults aged 50 and older with employment opportunities that provide economic independence and meaningful contribution to society.
Core Programs
Digital Certification Program (DCP): A data-driven solution that equips unemployed older Americans with in-demand technology skills and credentials to showcase to employers.
ReadyBlueprint by CWI Works: A program designed to address employer talent needs.
Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP): Funded by the Department of Labor under Title V of the Older Americans Act, this program serves eligible, low-income job seekers aged 55 and older. The program offers skill enhancement and economic independence opportunities while addressing community needs in health, education, childcare, aging, and adult services. At the national level, SCSEP is administered by CWI through 63 subrecipients in 12 states. During fiscal year 2024, approximately 4,827 enrollees were served nationally.
Agriculture Conservation Experienced Services (ACES): Funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture under Title XII of the Food Security Act, this program utilizes the talents of experienced workers in conservation efforts.
