The mission of Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston, Inc. is the following: * To sustain and enrich the quality of Jewish life in the Greater Boston Jewish community by creating and enhancing a sense of common purpose. * To plan and coordinate the delivery of Jewish communal services. * To strengthen the bond between the Greater Boston Jewish community and Israel and world Jewry through humanitarian programs and by actively promoting people-to-people relationships. * To respond appropriately to the social and human welfare needs of the community as a whole. * To maintain and broaden the organizational, human, and financial resources essential to achieving these goals.
