Alohacare
AlohaCare is a nonprofit health plan founded in 1994 and headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii. Designated as a 501(c)(4) civic league and social welfare organization, AlohaCare operates as a managed healthcare provider contracted with the State of Hawaii, Department of Human Services Med-QUEST Division, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The organization is the only health plan solely dedicated to serving those eligible for Hawaii's QUEST Integration (Medicaid) and Medicare programs. AlohaCare serves approximately 83,906 qualified Medicaid members and 2,361 Medicare members who are residents of Hawaii, with a workforce of 326 employees.
