Faith-based applicants must be open establishments that do not require religious participation. Political organizations are excluded; animal organizations may be considered only if they have programs for children and families. Finalists must send a representative to present how funds will be used. Large-grant recipients must report on use of funds within three months of project completion. Grantees may not create, sell, or distribute member contact lists or solicit members directly for further contributions. Grants are non-renewable, but an organization may reapply after two calendar years.
