Zanvyl and Isabelle Krieger Fund Grant

The Zanvyl and Isabelle Krieger Fund Grant aims to enhance individual and community potential in Baltimore City. Supporting 501(c)(3) organizations, the fund prioritizes housing, behavioral health, environmental justice, and families with young children. Grants typically range from $2,500 to $25,000 annually. Organizations can apply once a year, and the fund does not support endowments, indirect costs, or multi-year commitments, promoting direct program expenses to foster community resilience.

Note: If you have not previously received funds from the Krieger Fund, please submit a one- to two-page Letter of Intent (LOI) prior to submitting a full proposal. LOIs can be submitted at any time and are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Philosophy
The Fund's philosophy is that a healthy city is made up of families and individuals who have the personal and financial stability to reach their goals and to raise their children. To that end, the Fund supports efforts to increase opportunities for those with the least wealth.

Eligibility

Only 501(c)(3) organizations are eligible to apply.Organizations are eligible to apply once per year and not in back-to-back grant cycles.

Ineligibility

At this time, the Fund does not make multi-year grant commitments, but organizations are welcome to reapply each year.
