Youth Advisory Council Funding Program

Funder: Columbus Medical Association Foundation

    • Eligibility:

  • 501(c)(3) organizations

  • County, state, or federal government agencies

  • Projects/programs MUST target youth in central Ohio

  • Youth leadership in development and implementation strongly encouraged

    • Funding Types:

  • Grants: Limited to maximum of $2,000 for workshops or projects within schools, nonprofits, and/or youth groups

  • Sponsorships: Limited to maximum of $2,000 for community-wide and all-inclusive events

    • What They Do NOT Fund:

  • Individuals

  • Private foundations

  • Religious or political activities

  • Ongoing operating funds

  • Indirect or administrative overhead costs (including staff salaries)

  • Deficits, endowments, or research

    • Requirements for Successful Grantees:

  • Provide appropriate recognition of CMAF's Youth Advisory Council in all publicity

    • Recent Impact:

  • In the first six months of 2025, awarded $12,800 to seven impactful initiatives
