Overview: Opera Carolina offers tuition assistance/scholarships for students enrolled in Youth Academy programming.
- Students enrolled in Youth Academy programs (Academy Chorus or Summer Workshop)

Application Process
1. Complete Financial Aid Application Form - Available at operacarolina.org
2. Provide Required Information:
- Student status (new or returning)
- Previous tuition support history
- Program selection (Academy Chorus 1 semester, Academy Chorus full year, or Summer Workshop)
- Student name and date of birth
- Parent/Guardian name, address, phone, email
- Student current school and grade
- Employer information
3. Submit Proof of Income Documentation (REQUIRED - Application will not be reviewed without this):
- Most recent tax return, OR
- Two most recent pay stubs for all household income contributors, OR
- Proof of Free/Reduced lunch eligibility
- Submit via file upload on form OR email to [email protected]
4. Provide Financial Information:
- Monthly household income (after taxes)
- Additional monthly income (social security, disability, alimony, aid to families with dependent children, etc.)
- Number of adults in household
- Number of children in household
- Any other financial circumstances to consider
5. Short Response Questions:
- Describe what impact this scholarship would have on your child(ren)
6. Sign Statement of Understanding confirming:
- Application will not be reviewed without proof of income
- Application does not guarantee award
- Misleading/false information disqualifies current and future applications
- Award does not cover program registration fee
