Young Professionals Network (YPN) Mentorship Program

Overview: CORE Group's mentorship program supports career development of young professionals in global community health and international development by pairing them with experienced mentors.

Program History: Launched in 2018, the program has convened over 40 Mentor-Mentee pairs across multiple cohorts with varying levels of experience, professional backgrounds, and geographic locations.

Geographic Scope: Global; open to CORE Group members internationally

    Mentors:

  • Must be CORE Group organizational members or individual members

  • Must have at least 3 years work experience in global community health and/or international development

  • Leverage network and expertise to support young professional career growth and skills building
  • Mentees:

  • Must be CORE Group organizational members, individual members, or student members

  • Interns, early career professionals, or those looking for a career change

  • Opportunity to gain/improve professional skills including networking, resume and cover letter writing
  • Note: Space is limited and placement in the program is not guaranteed.
