Young Professionals Network (YPN) Mentorship Program

CORE Group's mentorship program supports career development of young professionals in global community health and international development by pairing them with experienced mentors.

Program History: Launched in 2018, the program has convened over 40 Mentor-Mentee pairs across multiple cohorts with varying levels of experience, professional backgrounds, and geographic locations.

Geographic Scope: Global; open to CORE Group members internationally

• Career development and professional skills building

Eligibility

Mentors:

• Must be CORE Group organizational members or individual members
• Must have at least 3 years work experience in global community health and/or international development
• Leverage network and expertise to support young professional career growth and skills building

Mentees:

• Must be CORE Group organizational members, individual members, or student members
• Interns, early career professionals, or those looking for a career change
• Opportunity to gain/improve professional skills including networking, resume and cover letter writing

Note: Space is limited and placement in the program is not guaranteed.
