Y-City Barbershop Scholarship Grant

The Y-City Barbershop Scholarship, offered by the Muskingum County Community Foundation, supports two students annually, targeting high school seniors and current college students pursuing vocal music education. Applicants must be either graduating high school seniors involved in their choir or current college/university vocal music education students. This initiative aligns with the foundation's mission to enhance community quality of life through educational opportunities.

Mission & Vision
The Envisioned Future of the Muskingum County Community Foundation is that Muskingum County’s quality of life attracts organizations and people to pursue their dreams and practice their passions.
Since its founding, MCCF has awarded more than $8 million to local charities and currently has over $22 million in assets.
The Y-City Barbershop Scholarship seeks to award two students each year. They award high school seniors and current college students.
Grade Level: Current High School Senior; Associates/Bachelors; Professional Degree/Masters/Doctoral

Eligibility

Applicants must be: a graduating high school senior who is a member of their high school choir, ORa current college/university level vocal music education student.
