Virginia E. Schultz Memorial Endowed Scholarship Grant

The Virginia E. Schultz Memorial Endowed Scholarship, funded by the Muskingum County Community Foundation, supports students from Muskingum County pursuing higher education. Eligible applicants include high school seniors, graduates, and undergraduates with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Preference is given to those from local high schools and those studying trade fields. This scholarship aims to enhance educational opportunities and foster community growth.

The Envisioned Future of the Muskingum County Community Foundation is that Muskingum County’s quality of life attracts organizations and people to pursue their dreams and practice their passions.
Since its founding, MCCF has awarded more than $8 million to local charities and currently has over $22 million in assets.
The Schultz Scholarship will award scholarships to student(s) planning to pursue full-time study at a two or four-year college or vocational-technical school in the upcoming academic year. Approved institutions include non-profit accredited colleges, universities, community colleges, technical/industrial or vocational schools, or equivalent.

Eligibility

Students must be residents of Muskingum County. Eligible applicants include:High school seniors, High school graduates (or GED equivalent)Undergraduates with a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)Plan to pursue a degree/certificate in trade fields such as construction, motor/power sector, mechanics, or technology.
