Overview

The Worthington Family Foundation The Worthington Family Foundation is a small family foundation created to distribute funds annually to nonprofit institutions. We fund organizations that support the arts and environmental stewardship to benefit children through young adults. The Worthington Family Foundation was created from the legacy of Betty J. O'Leary (1923 - 2008). Betty married but never had children. She was a very energtic person and was well-read and intellectually curious. She asked her sister, the late Ruth M. (Miesel) Worthington and the children of Ruth and her late husband William R. Worthington to create the Worthington Family Foundation upon her passing.
