How to Apply
Guidelines
DRS receives an appropriation of general revenue from the West Virginia Legislature for the Workshop Development Services. Each year in the Budget Bill, the West Virginia Legislature delineates that the Workshop Development Services general revenue appropriation shall be used exclusively with the private nonprofit community rehabilitation program organizations known as work centers or sheltered workshops. The appropriation shall also be used to continue the support of the program, services, and individuals with disabilities currently in place at those organizations. DRS grants funding through this appropriation to those workshops.
How to Apply
All applicants shall make a proposal on forms as prescribed by DRS and meet submission requirements established by DRS. The grant period is from July 1 to June 30 annually. All applications must be submitted through the Vendor Self Service Portal.
