Guidelines

DRS receives an appropriation of general revenue from the West Virginia Legislature for the Ron Yost Personal Assistance Services (RYPAS) Program, which is an Independent Living program that reimburses attendant care costs for non-working individuals with disabilities so they can remain in their homes. The appropriation is granted to the SILC who administers program funding at the direction of the RYPAS Board. ​

How to Apply

All applicants shall make a proposal on forms as prescribed by DRS and meet submission requirements established by DRS. The grant period is from July 1 to June 30 annually. All applications must be submitted through the Vendor Self Service Portal. ​
