Full Name: Rita J. Bicknell Women's Health Endowed Fund

Geographic Scope: Southeast Kansas region

Purpose: Improve the health and well-being of women by supporting education, increasing awareness, and sharing quality of life opportunities

Fund Structure: Made up of two giving circles:

Women's Giving Circle (WGC): Established 2007, provides grants in excess of $2,000

Circle of Friends Giving Circle (COF): Established 2013, offers grants up to $2,000

Women's health education

Awareness programs

Quality of life opportunities for women

Health and well-being initiatives

Award Details:

Circle of Friends: Up to $2,000 per grant

Women's Giving Circle: In excess of $2,000 per grant

History: Recent annual awards:

2025: $61,755 awarded

2024: $59,205 awarded

2023: $52,000 awarded

Eligibility: Open to nonprofit organizations

Review Process: Members of both giving circles review applications and approve funds for programs fulfilling the Fund's mission

Membership Option: Become a member of either giving circle to participate in grant decisions and support women's health initiatives
