Wisdom Family Foundation Grant Program

The Wisdom Family Foundation Grant Program supports organizations that empower children and strengthen communities. Grants typically range from $1,000 to $5,000, with larger capital grants considered on a case-by-case basis. The Foundation operates primarily in Greater Chicago, Northern Wisconsin, and the Twin Cities, promoting a spirit of generosity and collaboration within communities.

NOTE: Grants for the Wisdom Family Foundation are only BY invitation. The board of directors considers requests for funding outside of this grant cycle on a case-by-case basis. Organizations must complete the Preliminary Grant Inquiry form by  Feb. 1 to be considered for an invitation.
Through our Greater Chicago, Northern Wisconsin, Twin Cities and International Chapters, the Wisdom Family Foundation provides children around the world with the resources and encouragement they need to persevere through difficulty, whether that’s access to food, academic scholarships, medical and housing assistance, or hope during the holidays.
We take special care with each giving opportunity to understand how we can best be a champion for the recipient and serve their needs.
In recent years, the Wisdom Family Foundation has made donations and awarded operating grants for work in:

Wisdom Family Foundation typically awards operating grants between $1,000-5,000. The board of directors considers larger capital grants toward projects that will strengthen communities on a case-by-case basis.

Eligibility

The Wisdom Family Foundation leads a series of programs to connect children and families to immediate resources and build a spirit of generosity within communities. WFF operates primarily in the Greater Chicago, Northern Wisconsin and Twin Cities areas. International giving takes place through I CAN, a sister non-profit to the Wisdom Family Foundation.
