Wilkes Education Foundation Scholarship

Geographic Scope: Wilkes County, North Carolina

Eligible Schools: East Wilkes, North Wilkes, West Wilkes, Wilkes Central, and Wilkes Early College High School

Award Amount: Approximately $20,000-$30,000 awarded annually to multiple students

Selection Criteria:

  • Grade point average (GPA)

  • American College Testing (ACT) scores

  • Rank in class

  • Community involvement

  • Extracurricular activities

  • Any curriculum choice leading to a technical or professional career

  • Character

  • Demonstrated leadership ability through interview

  • Demonstrated communication skills (oral and written)

  • Financial need (considered when other criteria are equal)
