Overview

The Wiley Foundation was established to support the scientific community and reward those who work tirelessly to open new fields of research and understanding of the scientific process. Current support by the foundation include the Wiley Prize in Biomedical Sciences for established, renowned scientists, and a partnership with the Aresty Undergraduate Research Center at Rutgers University. The Wiley Prize in Biomedical Sciences recognizes and fosters ongoing excellence in scientific achievement and discovery. The award is not a life-time achievement award, but instead is intended to recognize seminal discoveries that have not received extensive recognition. Our jury also strives to award diverse recipients (gender/geographical). This international award is presented annually and consists of a $50,000 prize and a luncheon in honor of the recipient(s).
