Weld Recovers Fund: COVID-19 Relief

Program Overview

Emergency relief fund designed to provide financial resources to charitable organizations in Weld County supporting populations directly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The fund distributed a total of $317,922 to 26 Weld nonprofits.

    Eligible Beneficiaries/Focus Areas

    Fund supported nonprofits assisting:
  • Vulnerable populations, particularly homeless communities
  • Those at imminent risk of homelessness
  • Low-income households
  • Older adults
  • Those experiencing food insecurity

    What the Fund Does NOT Support

  • General operating support
  • Simply replacing lost revenue
  • Direct assistance to individuals (only through nonprofit intermediaries)

    Donation Information

  • 100% of donations distributed to nonprofits (no administrative fees)
  • No minimum donation amount required
  • Unrestricted donations preferred to maximize efficiency
  • No restricted donations to specific organizations accepted
