Fort Lupton Community Foundation Grant

The Fort Lupton Community Foundation Grant aims to address significant needs within the Fort Lupton area. Grants of up to $5,000 are available for eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits and other tax-exempt organizations that serve Weld County residents. The foundation prioritizes projects demonstrating measurable outcomes, self-sufficiency, and community engagement, while excluding capital fund drives and sponsorships. This initiative supports sustainable development and seeks to enhance local resources for a thriving community.

Grants from the Fort Lupton Community Foundation are to help meet the greatest needs in the Fort Lupton area. The Fort Lupton Community Foundation is an affiliate of the Weld Community Foundation and was created to serve the people of the greater Fort Lupton community.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include:Nonprofits classified by the IRS as 501(c)(3) organizationsOther eligible tax exempt entities (such as municipalities, schools and faith-based organizations)Non-exempt groups with a fiscal sponsor that is a 501(c)(3) organization, public school, or public agencyOrganizations should also predominantly serve residents of Weld County, ColoradoIn addition to the Weld Community Foundation's General Grant Guidelines, found here, Organizations:must have a project that has measurable outcomesmust have programs that serve the Fort Lupton areaaddresses needs that are not met fully by existing organizational or community resourcesdemonstrates a well-planned approach to meeting an identified community issue and/or needhas an established base of supporthas committed, skilled leadership and qualified staff to undertake the project
